...and this will be our last meeting for the summer! This month, Marjorie Pavao of the Longtin Group and ReMax Professionals have put together a presentation regarding what's going in real estate and your neighborhood. This could be a great educational opportunity for the association.
There will also be an update from Officers Chille and Mee about recent activity in the neighborhood. Our meeting will be held at 7PM Monday, June 30th at the Washington Street VFW Hall.
We are now approaching our two year anniversary! This will be our last meeting until the fall, and we'd like to make part of this meeting an open meeting. Share your thoughts with members about we can do to make YOUR Lakewood Neighborhood Association a better organization. This is a good opportunity for all of us to exchange ideas regarding neighborhood problems, as well as talk about achievements. Suggestions for guest speakers, group projects, elections, etc. would all be welcome. The LNA wants to hear what YOU have to say!"
We are also contacting the candidates for City Council to line them up for our fall meetings. More details as the summer progresses!

"As of March 28 the forum site run by the Warwick School Department went off line. Many of us felt that it was a great tool for letting everyone voice their concerns and issues to the Central Administration. With that said we have set up a new site that will allow us to continue our progress. This site is open to anyone with or with children in the school department. Please feel free to join, the site is not run by the school department; as a whole we can make sure OUR voices are heard. Our group can be found at http://parentsofwarwickschools.lefora.com/forum."
